Of all the event items, its probably the most important one, hopefully we get something lol. Could use a 3rd one.

I would take a working Nexus cape all day. Tidal is tits but Nexus cape would save the day for me. I hate running to KRT or having to OP Qufim to run to Jeuno for WG.

He was super generous with Tidal, here's hoping he'll be give Nexus in the future. That's my Christmas wish. It's not like we have homepoint warps, so this isn't truly gamebreaking to spread some joy with party-leader warp.

I wouldn't mind seeing how cheap laptops perform. I have a sweet desktop, and don't have a budget for a super sweet laptop right now. But if I go cheap will it be able to run ffxi at a decent framerate?

I’ve got an hp laptop I paid $300 for like 5 years ago and I can box without issue. There ya go

Every EG shell has hold parties, meh.

He could easily disable zones for Tia, Jorm, Behe and others.

But why would you want one of not to jump to the hold pty quicker? To get to bubu quicker? You know how pissed ppl would be to have 1 guy login and a grp has 3 ppl with a 4th running from the op and all 3 other guys cape and beat them and now they gotta wait minimum 2 hours? Lol

Or you just mean to pty warp to an exp pty? Kind of pointless unless you have a trek to make like the 60ish camp in the boyada tree but otherwise most parties are in a decent running distance.

I don't see a need for the cape if he's going to disable zones to use it

Nexus cape already exists. You can go get it right now. Thing is, it doesn't work. And I doubt he'll be able to code it by Christmas. That and I bet he realizes how game-breaking that item is.

I'm just saying I'd like it as it is expected to work, or if he would decide to tweak it because ppl get upset about HNMs. Either way I'd be happy to have it. Nice for transporting alt/mule around too.
