It's a bot if RFK/TS don't claim. It's a bot if Aioko, Infiltration claim, It's a bot if I claim, And holy hell, the worse, Aeroo with the claim that Nasomi does not care and has green lit the use of bots because he, she and it, aren't banned ... Some of you should listen to the way you all talk sometimes. Makes you all sound ridiculous and like a bunch of cry babies because someone beat you at something. Only one person here makes any sense and I can say he or she may understands the difference between ping and drum roll latency.

Anyone getting around Nasomi's proxy should and will result in an instant ban, period. It's ridiculously easy to identify that particular type of traffic, point to point, if you know what you're looking for at from a network level. Part of me does wish the auto claim feature would be expanded but we all know who are going to benefit from it the most. One particular group, maybe two, never the scene as a whole. Shit will just be completely unbalanced if care isn't taken. I support if care is taken when expanding on it. Regardless of what you all may think, changes to certain aspects of the game are fragile and the most delicate touch can break things or worse, turn it to complete shit. As it stands now, there's a slice in every aspect of this game where people/groups/etc are dominant -- And people will hate you for it. Just look at Dom and the Alky ToD thread.

Yet still havent answered how to claim a mob in a group of mobs instantly without tabing through them......

My way to do that in a group of mobs and with a gamepad is to have the cursor on myself, position the camera so the desired target is nearly aligned with the cursor, and then hit left or right on the d-pad to select only the desired mob. I never use tab to find things, personally, since it's too easy to go past and way slower. Similarly, a macro that uses <stnpc> can operate similarly if the camera's lined up right.

Man, ain't no reflexes, angle your camera down, zoom in on yourself until you don't target shit as you spam. Try it, you'll me amazed at discovering something new to an almost 20 year old game!

At the risk of asking something already tried, has anyone put on a white hat (edit: or grey hat) and shared embarrassing videos of undetected bot claiming to Nasomi? I'm not in the know about what people have done on this front, but that might shake his confidence in his scraping skills on this issue and make him more receptive to expanding auto-claim.

I haven't seen any indication that anyone new is botting, so I don't feel like this is really accurate. The same people that had been botting before are probably botting now, but when they're not around, it seems like business as usual. And, I mean, RFK has been getting accusations of people being bots since before we ever did HNMs - it wasn't true then and it wasn't true now. People have called Rek a botter since his VE days, yet he streamed hundreds of those claims, and he's streamed plenty of OWNM and HNM claims too. In general, I think the majority of claims about people botting generally turn out to be false. I think having a few people that people are nearly 100% sure of it also means that people start assuming that some of these other claims are also true, even with significantly less evidence for them.


I'm all for autoclaim being turned on elsewhere, though.
