Sure, the last crafter I took through the 90s FELT like the skillups were slower. I doubt anyone other than nasomi can prove he dialed it down, if he did. It could probably just be luck/bad luck too.

GSM 99-100 little less than a year ago took me ~50-60 synths. BC 99-100 a few weeks ago took me ~8 stacks of mats(no desynth), which is far more synths.

You cannot synth outside of New Moon Darksday for 80+ crafts. With limited materials on this server and the skill up rate the way it is -- this is the only way I see consistent skills ups. It is noticeably smaller on my end as well.

It does seem slower from when I leveled wood working too 100 about a year ago, however I faired better getting skill ups this time round from desynth. It may have been luck too I don't know, just my personal experience.
