It depends because farming takes a looooooooong time pre-75, AF requires high level help, limit breaks take a long time and you'll need to rely on higher level people. Farming and Limit Breaks will slow you down.
PLD, BLM and BRD is a solid start. Depending on play time, I will say 5 months.
FFXI is about the journey, not the destination. Meet people a long the way, have fun and try new things. People thought that NIN/DRK was crazy until someone did it. Woah, did I just copy Nike?
