Nasomi loves FFXI just like we all do, i remember when the server was launched. Things have changed and we have come very far here, we have a big community and most people are really cool.

Unfortunately we have picked up quite a few toxic children and people looking to profit off the server, any big server has RMT problems because people take the easy way out.

Considering the amount of effort he put in and the skillset he had i promise he could have made more money and had much less drama doing other things.

Remembers when the server was started yet only started playing in 2019, after he was banned for bot fishing on Eden. Okay.

If you want to call the server ass, I would agree that we've had donkeys here for a long time. A lot of people are addicted to this game, to the all-too-consuming and distracting dynamic of stratifying status, and it brings out the worst in this second life. It is not just or even primarily the kids, although they are easy to spot on the forum (the kids generally don't have other venues to reach their audiences). But make no mistake, we're holding up mirrors to each other. We can spend a lot of time getting uppity about it, but the problem is as old as nations and it is not going away. Any game, electronic or not, that has programmed hierarchies with distinct privileges (e.g., linkshells, disciplines, and other exclusive groups) that enable people to behave like (inverted) narcissists, is going to invite that kind of behavior. To me, it is an emotional intelligence test. Some people pass. Some people ass. C'est la vie! It is a precious and indispensable learning process. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
