Please don't be delusional. If it were event 50% perfect results, and that's the sad truth. There are bugs on almost every side of this entire Nasomi project. Go into any random thread and you'll find someone who is experiencing an issue here and there. This is just sad and people need to realize.

If any of you find somewhere better, let me know. Like Cilarnen said, Eden is off the table for a lot of nasomi players. Sadly nasomi has been in over his head for awhile now, and will be updating things at his own pace. It is what it is. Bitching about it wont get nasomi to address anything any faster. If anything the guy is probably horribly disillusioned with the project, even more so when we express negativity towards the guy, but is still willing to keep it running because he loves the hardware/server side of things. This makes him incredibly consistent, which is extremely important. I think it's safe at this point though for the community to know that bugs wont really be getting fixed, content wont really be coming, and tickets will rarely get answered, much less resolved. Anytime one of these things does happen, consider yourself lucky. If you can deal with all of that, this server will probably be a blast for you, as long as your luck also keeps you from getting screwed by said bugs.

I'm not saying there aren't bugs; I've been playing here since 2015, when there were REALLY bugs, much worse than there are now. The kind of bugs that could stop people from progressing for months or even years in some rare cases.

What I am saying is that no one playing here is entitled to anything. No one is forcing anyone to spend their time playing ffxi here. Nasomi provides this server at great cost in time, money, and stress to himself without asking for anything in return other than that people play fairly. I'm so tired of seeing ungrateful shits like you year after year badmouth it as if you are somehow owed anything.

If what problems you're experiencing aggrieve you so much, you can quite simply get the fuck off the server, if you even actually play, and go somewhere else to waste your time. Its a game and you aren't paying for it. If you want to feel entitled to customer service go play retail.

We both know they are either an Eden troll or a Nasomi player too cowardly to post under their real name.

Also, I'm not saying go play retail over Nasomi, I'm saying go pay for and play retail if you feel entitled to have your personal needs catered to as part of your time investment.

The real issue is if people would stop fucking cheating and acting like shitbags to get ahead slightly faster, Nas might actually have time to help people and implement bug fixes again. We know the realistic chances of that ever happening, however.

the shitbags are close to era accurate. they never moved on. you might as well learn to deal with the fascist resource sinks who disrespect the rules of social dis--er, playing by the rules. this isn't going to end any time soon.

I learned to deal with them 4+ years ago back when it actually affected me; its long since past that time. My comment was to point out the main reason there aren't more frequent updates, resulting in continuous complaints and threads of this nature.

I think the server outages and black screenings give a better feeling of era ffxi than not. I played on dial-up, and it wasn't the most reliable connection. This server has been a gem to play on... bugs and all.
