blist is for personal conflicts. Some guy calls you an asshole or spams you in /tells.

Reporting for harassment is for public conflicts. Some guy and his buddies try to actively stop you from playing the game.

I don't think you see the comparison.

If you can blacklist someone who is directing things only at you, in a place only you can read, or even in say or shout where only you can read, this isn't harassment. You can stop it by blacklisting them. If I send a /tell to people who decline party invites angrily, I ain't harassing them.

If someone is in a public place saying something like this about you, you can't stop it with blacklist. You can only stop yourself from seeing it. You'd be damn right if I /shouted in town how much I dislike x person for declining a party invite.

In a way, the posts we've been seeing here recently are meant to harass the players who were the supposed assholes which is why they get deleted. But Llo and Petz are on 'vacation' who knows where and nas is dealing with everyone who bound their account wrong. I wouldn't expect these threads to happen for much longer.

You have one of the worst definitions for harassment I've ever seen. Just because you can blist someone doesn't mean they aren't harassing you. I'm guessing Ext was mostly bored and frustrated he wasn't getting the mantas. The conversation ends when someone doesn't respond (i.e. if they have the other party blisted) most of the time.

They can report it to Nas, just like anyone else can report anything they feel like reporting to Nas, but no.. I don't see the distinction that leads me to think that saying something mild in /say, while talking with someone, is worse than saying something truly terrible just because only the person you're talking to can see the truly terrible stuff. That's asinine... Then again, basically all of these are asinine.

Go to the Dunes in the last week, and stay for more than an hour.. You'll see someone /shouting about someone else being horrible, calling them names, and talking shit about them. It's what happens when the server grows.

No, OP isn't RMT. I'm not even sure Ext believes he was RMT, or if he was just trying to troll him for getting mantas more than he was. Stop getting sad over a video game, and play the video game.

I don't understand why you care so much about someone hurting your feelings via /tell or even /say. Is this what society has become?? Blacklist them and move on, you can't expect someone to get banned just because they say something you don't like. If you want full control over what people can say to you in a MMORPG, then go play a open world pvp game so at least you can kill them if they're talking crap lol.
