@Nathano, I really hope this thread was worth trashing your rep into the ground. My suggestion is never leave the end-game shell you are currently in... Because even if this thread gets deleted (like the others that have already) everyone will remember how you acted and reacted to everyone. Your words will follow you around forever on this server, trust me on that.
This mans reply says it all. It shows you didn’t care about the reply someone gave you. I’m fine with criticism with how I handled Nabu but as for what was said in the forums, no. I was polite and was attacked. If you read far back, if you were paying attention to the threads that were deleted, and you were paying attention to the irc and the poll that was put up by Nabu at my request, you’d see several people agreed with me. They were talked down. Unfortunately for those that did, I took a screenshot of this poll as well as have the energy to reply. I think it’s unfortunate how people treat others in this way but it is what it is.

First look up sample size, second, That Thread and about 6 others reflecting negatively or discussing the unfairness of item roll backs are being actively deleted. So the population as a whole does not have a chance to even vote. A form of voter suppression if you will.
But even saying that a hundred people misrepresentation of the whole voted. There is no easy solution here. NAs could have removed or not allowed the ZNMs or NMs at any point. IN FACT he adjusted drop rates on them more than once (I'm looking at you fowling earring and bst reward axe) instead of removing items or the nms / ZNMS implying that at least at those times he was wanting to control the rate they entered the server instead of making that rate 0. There was an additional CHARM / CHR adjustment that made it very difficultly for bst to even charm any mobs in Toau. had to have BIS chr gear and tuna sushi to do stuff out there.
Blus used these services all the time to learn spells, people hired out to get enkidus, or plds to get auras plate, smns to get oracles.
While all this "exploitation" is going on by beasts. The smn are LEVELING out there in smn burns. Making 20k exp an hour and 60k in items for things like beak necklaces and bronze coins. OF which many people bought to buy a turban +5% haste.
So all these things are happening at the same time. Tie that with other crafts like 75 regen necklace made from ZNM ONLY drops or CERB MANTEL (znm only drop) etc and you have a whoel economy who profited by that area as it was.
Now beasts could help people get ZNM stuff, and SNM could farm there sanction points and colbri beaks etc. and lots of people made lots of money. Some raised craft skills that no one else could because they didn't have access to the Toau items.
Flash forward to today. Nas isn't talking about removing all the turbans bought with bronze coins, from a time when getting them is not seen as somehow "exploiting the area" No one is talking about dipping into the bonecrafter's pockets who were selling beak necklace for 250k or the +1 for 700k, No one is saying to remove all the BLU spells learned in Toau.
What they are saying is that a SAM who earned his gil in non Toau areas will lose the NANA Greak Katana he BOUGHT, with no compensation. OR that I (who bought the PW body piece) will loose it with no compensation. What about the war out there with the fowling earring to give him str? or the summoner who hired or teamed up with ls mates / others to "Buy" a rare.ex oracle gear. or the thfs who did the same with the enkindu sets.
All the people that already paid money out to get those items will lose them. all the people that farmed and made the money will keep their money. This is think is the underlying difficulty with balancing the zone.
Want to take the items, ok that sucks. But take al the turbans, beak necklaces, regen neck pieces cerb mantles, dip into the pockets of the craters who made that money, etc.
The problem with balance is you can't uncrack the egg. When he re-balanced drop rates for nms and znms he could have made them 0
when he re-balanced blu learning ToAU spells he could have made them 0, he could have turned of sanction points or not allowed turban buying.
But the thing is. When this was going on. It was OK. now after the fact those left holding the items have to pay again by losing them. That's what hurts. That's what sucks.
Even now. 12-15-2018 with the announcement of the PW items getting deleted and znm items going away. Is he stopping Nana sales? I've seen two go for 250k to some sucker who will wake up tomorrow to learn the "Great deal" he go sucks and his item is gone. These are still being traded / sold etc.
So I guess I'm wondering how you'd balance this? Because all I see is penalizing people for something the whole sever thought was right and ok. Implied so even because nas adjusted drop rates etc without turning anything off or making it so no one could be in the areas.
Lots of people benefited by the old Toau, the people penalized by the item removal are the ones just left holding the bag. All the crafters / farmers / turban wearers / blus with full spell list/ will see no down side when they "exploited" the same area.
