For whatever reason the mobs base level is higher here vs retail
The valkurm lizards are differently levelled to retail (Retail Lizard's highest level was 19, in Nas they go up to level 22, but only in the specific valkurm exp camp areas where the lizzy levels seem to be fixed for EXP camps.), and the Snippers on the secret beach a one or two levels higher than retail, but other than specific spots in Valkurm I can't say I've noticed any difference in mob levels between here and retail at all.

Retail: you go to the dunes at lv 10. You join a party. The party ranges from levels 10-12: If your WHM was 10, that's bad. If your tank was 10, that's bad. But, otherwise, you go through the "lv 10" part of the dunes just fine.
Here: you go to the dunes at lv 10. You join a party. The party ranges from levels 10-20: but then you sync. Now everyone is 10. Your WHM doesn't have Cure II. Your tank is only level 10. This is going to make things feel more difficult than a "lv 10" party in retail.
When Level Sync was introduced to retail, level sync 10 parties happened at the konschtat lizzy camp (safer bet was an 11 sync for cure II, but lv 10 syncs happened often since it didn't take long to chain exp to 11 sync), but then after a level or two you'd have to move to the cliff/oasis for crabs and eventually flies anyway, if you didn't already just start at 11-12 syncing on crabs. I also remember 19 syncing being a thing in qufim on worms with a good setup, but with Worms casting in melee range in Nasomi I'd say this could be incredibly more dangerous to try and it'd be better to just wait till 20-21 if you really want to start on Worms in Qufim.
