For those who don't play NA daytime, the Chinese added to the daytime community and it's sad to see the innocent caught in the fray. Aside from communicating with Nasomi through the ticket system. I am asking the community how can these guys property set things up moving forward should they decide to remake a character?
Nasomi has come out and said VPNs are legal.
The problem is that all these players used the same VPN (also legal) and Nas found a bunch of shady shit from a lot of these characters and now has to lump them altogether because he cant track them individually by their IPs since they connected through a VPN.
Nas has more information than any of us at his disposal, it's just unfortunate that people are being banned when (from our perspective) they have literally done nothing wrong because they connected through (what appears to be) the only working VPN for the Chinese.
The same thing could happen to you if you have a VPN. If you and I both use PIA and connect to the same server and I cheat, you would be lumped in with me. He wouldn't know who is who.
If Nas said VPNs were illegal from the get go, these guys wouldn't have an excuse to be angry but some of them have a very valid reason to be pissed.
But most importantly, none of them followed the account to forum account connection rules to distinguish themselves in any way from each other.
