I just handed in 55 Cornettes and went from level 1 to 3 Windurst fame.

Also just did 48 hand-ins of 3 x millioncorn and went from 1 to 4 Sandy fame and 3 to 5 Bastok fame.

I wasn't aware about whether Nasomi uses the modern or classic fame rates. I assumed classic. Was it modern until the patch?

Good to see confirmation of this.
From the fame building I was doing yesterday, the numbers were aligned with the reduced fame requirements. From the testimonial page below, the classic fame rate would have taken me 105 stacks of corn instead of 25.

It took me the 240 cornettes, many stacks of millioncorn, proper amounts of zinc, etc, when I did all of the fame stuff weeks ago.

when I did it on my first character, it required the original amount of trades. This was about a year and a half ago. When I did it on my second character it seems to go extremely quickly. I checked on it partway through and I was already Fame 9 far before I expected to be. This is probably six months ago.

I am in Qufim right now and melee weaponskills are working here. The DRK in my party says they weren't working earlier in Qufim. However he was also in Pashhow Marshlands just before the party and melee weaponskills were not working there.

That'd be nice if it's fixed..I'd expect him to mention fixing it though.

The game was pretty close to unplayable last night for EXP.
