It's -crippling- for most of the population, whether you want to believe it or say there are ways to still do activites. The fact is, basically everyone doesn't. It's embarrassing.

My buddy has joined the server, from work, and has already basically quit. He's been online 3 times, and has yet to be able to actually XP.


Meanwhile, I've been playing for almost a month and have no idea this was even happening, and I'm lvl32 war, 19mnk, 21thf, 30whm, 18rdm, 24 bard

Agreed, I dont think some people can fathom what an absolute undertaking this is. Yes we should expect the best, but considering everything, the server is a pretty accurate representation of what we all loved.


People just too entitled; they want Nas to run the server, pay for it, and also keep it smooth at all times with no hiccups.

If the problem's never affected Mello in the handful of hours it takes to get some jobs to less than 30, the rest of us should be unconcerned.

Well, All I'm saying is I've been playing between 3-10 hours per day, every single day, since I started so I SHOULD have at least once experienced something that is being claimed to happen 3-4 times per day and forcing people to the point of quitting... Also, there was a certain degree of hyperbole there.

I'm sure you play the game and participate in the forums enough to have many people you could quote if you put some effort towards it; though it's not something worth putting effort towards, nor would it support your remark.

If anything the little quirks of this server kind of go hand in hand with the brutality of the 75 cap era and classic FFXI. Any other game that was more forgiving these issues would probably have stood out, but most veteran players are so used to rolling with the punches that classic FFXI throws at us, whats another minor bug to deal with?

Sure... except there wasn’t hyperbole in what I said. It was happening multiple times a day, every day. You not experiencing it doesn’t really have any impact on whether it was happening, hence the jokes.
