As the title says. I logged in a minute aggo to enjoy the XP band. I unlocked dragoon like only a few days back, lvl2.
And When i run out of the city i notice a pet named George, so at first i thought it was sum1 elses. Suddenly its following me XD then i realised its mine.

What happened nasomi!? Mine had a Japanese name (i cant even remember what i picked since i havent played drg since i unlocked it lol. But i deffinitly did not pick George lol...plz help!

did you actually summon your wyvern after you first unlocked the job? i remember last year when i unlocked drg the name you pick after the dragon fight wasnt the one you ended up with and everyone i talked to had the same problem. theres an npc in norg you can pay 10k to change the wyverns name

iirc your suppose to pick the name 1 above or 1 below the name you actually want , also as someone mentioned you can change your wyverns name to something else in norg .

I also hit this issue and I ended up with my wyvern name as Hien , wouldn't trade my buddy Hien for any other name now that he has grown on me <3 , maybe in time you can learn to love George

edit: After reviewing the listing I believe you are suppose to pick the one below the name you actually want . So you apparently picked donryu and ended up with George lol. I picked Raiden and ended up with Hien. on the bright side you have about 3x times the names to choose from in norg.

If you go to norg on dragoon and talk to the NPC Fouvia you can pay some gil to select a new name from a larger list and that one will work properly. (or at least it did years ago for me after I got the wrong name initially)

I got the wrong name and id advise doing the quest sly mentioned as it gives you other options for names that aren't included with unlocking the job. Junker ftw!

Nice, just like Kuro I ended up with Hien. DRG was the first job I fully leveled and at the time I couldn’t spare the cash to change Hien’s name. Nowadays I wouldn’t dream of changing it. He’s Hien.
