I think I made this post in the wrong area. If I did, my apologies. So I'm reposting here.

Torrent download link says 400 Bad Request and the direct download downloads go.zip but it says the folder is empty or files corrupted.

Forgot to mention, I'm using an older pc that's still running XP. I did notice in the wiki that XP works differently after download, but I can't even download.

I just downloaded it without issue. It's a magnet link, it's not a normal torrent file, so you need a torrent client that supports magnet links.

The torrent link takes me to an entire page that says 400 Bad Request. The direct download downloads a zip file that says empty or corrupted.

So it's not that the torrent downloads then won't register in uTorrent, it's that the torrent file doesn't even download in the first place

It's quite possible it's an XP compatibility issue? I'm not sure why that would be, but that's the only thing I can think of. Some security setting being required that XP doesn't have.

The server been hit by DDoS over the week so probably this could also obstruct you in the downloading process. Try to download now once more. Hope it works. Try the latest utorrent as well just in case.

Nope. Still getting the same errors on the XP system.

I have Windows 7 on my laptop. It downloaded and installed fine there. So I linked my systems directly by LAN and transferred the zip file to the XP system manually and it still says it's corrupt.

The reason I'm doing this is my laptop overheats easily and I laaaaaaaaag. Back in the day I used to play on servers on my XP system (desktop) fine and it ran rather smoothly (I think I might have even played here, did Nasomi exist in 2013? lol) but it's since had a reformat.

Guess I'll just have to wait to upgrade the desktop or buy a new one :/

Is your Windows XP install using FAT32? If it is you could try converting the partition or drive to NTFS to handle files over 4gb in size. That might be why it's giving you a problem with the direct download zip file.
