I played FFXI's 14-day way back on PS2. liked it but wasnt really down with monthly fees (mainly because no CC). but after playing F2P MMOs for the past ~20 years, coming back around, been giving P2P MMOs a chance since TERA came out in 2012, then moved on to FFXIV, played till end-game 2.0 content in FFXIV. finally trying FFXI after realizing the private servers actually work now.

I'm currently trying to figure out how this game works on PC, playing with a controller is awesome, but I am so very spoilt by modern MMOs that this archaic menu navigation and control system is really proving to be a challenge.
