Hey guys, is it alright if I make a Nasomi-oriented Discord server primarily for newer players like myself and link it here?

This was attempted before and the player who created the server-wide Discord was banned from playing on the server. However, the banning was likely secondary to how the player responded to nasomi when he asked him to stop but I would hesitate to do this without direct consent from nasomi. Many linkshells have their own Discords -- maybe an alternative idea would be to join/create a new player linkshell and create a linkshell-specific Discord?

You can buy a linkshell from multiple vendors for 8000gil. Linkshells have a 250 pearl limit. The reasoning is that no player should have access to speak to every player. There have been countless problems with this in the past when there was a server-wide ls. Nasomi broke the shell when we had about 400 online and said there's sufficient players to make your own linkshells. Retail had a 250 pearl limit as well.

There are countless starter shells for new players though, you shouldn't have a hard time finding one if you want to join up with one rather than starting your own.

I didn't know about the incident with Nasomi, I was also curious and I wanted to know if the server had it's own discord. But it seems that's better that each linkshell have their own ones.
