Hi, for the last few days i have posted about this issue in the live chat, but due to all the recent outages it might have been overlooked. Me and now i can confirm another new Monk named Purr cannot complete the monk af1 quest "Ghosts of the Past" in Gusgan Mines which requires you to trade a pickaxe to a ??? to spawn a NM ghost. We both have the quest flagged, the required pickaxe item, and trade it to the confirmed correct ??? both getting no response. Also using the axe does nothing on it and clicking it gives the message "Hmmm?" for both of us. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Mine is bugged as well, just got done trying to do it, had the same exact problem.

Is this still glitched? just tried it with my girl friend, and she gets the same thing. Any suggetions?

yeah. its been glitched for almost three years and there were no posts about it in the interim.

I found a work around for this while helping someone who was glitched. For context, I was able to complete the quest yesterday on main as intended without any issues. After killing the NM once, I was unable to pop it on my main even after relogging, zoning, waiting 15 min, etc.

However I was able to pop it on my alt even though they did not have the quest flagged and are only lvl 16 mnk. The person I was helping was able to lot the pendant and finish the quest after this.

I do not know if this means my alt is glitched now, but I have no intentions of leveling mnk on it anyways.

I'm willing to try and pop it again so if you're glitched feel free to reply here or /tell IGN Hitz
