Venomous Claws at 700k x4 is 2.8m. Scorpion harness 500k x3 is 1.5m+1.30m from hq is 2.8m.

Either claws have to go down in price or scorpion harnesses have to go up in price or you have to get lucky.

I think he just wants an NQ that isn't price gouged, I think its a fair request.

And with the current price of Claws/HQs, you're not going to get one for less than 500-600k. 1/4 probability barely nets you barely any profit currently on the synth so the NQ or HQ must go up, or the Vclaws must come down.

I get that, but the guys not looking for an economy lesson, he's looking for a cheap scorp harness. Believe it or not, things do sell below AH often. I don't think this guys looking for the richest of Vanadiel to give him a sob story of why they can't give him a deal.

It is. It falls under the get lucky part of my answer. The guy is just going to have to get lucky if every time he comes to the AH, there's only 1 overpriced one up.

while thats true , and the claws should drop a bit in price , its was always like that thanks to +1 , hauby its the same , the ingot cost the same as the item (add the other items to the cost ) , if u are crafting SH u are prolly trying to get a +1 if u dont get it u just sell the no HQ into ah just to recover some gil back...

Right, but to ultimately do so at a profit, while right now theyre actually losing money when you factor in breaks. The SH market had plenty of time to go up, but veno claws have kept pace; so I think they should go down instead of this trend of scorpion harnesses going up, but we'll see.

I'll agree, due to minimal groups farming the claws, monopolies tend to create price rises, and right now the claw is rising quicker than the current playerbase who needs the NQs can pay reliably. It'll probably crash soon.

Didn't expect all the responses, but yeah I know the claw is pretty high right now which is why I was trying to get one while I could still afford it. Managed to find a seller at 520k, which is the highest it's been sold on the AH for the past month, so wasn't looking for anything special, just wanted one before it rose more. Thanks for all the replies though.
