Hey all, not normally one to post to forums but this one seems friendly enough and, from what I can tell, friends will get you far in this iteration of FFXI. To start, I suppose, when I was a child, I played Everquest in 2000 and have never played an MMORPG that lived up to it since. I recently played on a few private servers and their progression servers and enjoyed every second. It was not too long ago that I heard many of my buddies mentioning the similarities between EQ and FFXI in terms of difficulty and reliance on other classes and a community, and I feel that this is what's missing in modern MMORPGS. So I looked it up, found Nasomi and here I am. I look forward to meeting some of you in game and hope I can be of as much help to you as some of you will no doubt be to me, thanks fellas.
