So I created my alt from the account section on the Nasomi Website. I log in with the credentials created there and the game loads properly. I get to the FFXI main menu and the only option from there is to create new character. The screen begins to load the character creation process but quickly freezes and crashes the game. No error codes seen. Any answers as to why I cannot create this alt within the game?

Try enabling "Simplified character creation" in the FFXI config (run the config as admin to save changes).
