Beyond fixing the DirectX proxy/rendering issues with dual-GPU laptops, this post here has a bunch of cool/helpful stuff involving using Reshade to make the game extra purdy and some other stuff, too:
viewtopic.php?t=6128There are a good amount of .dat swaps, but since none of them are map mods/etc. they should all fall under the "yeah, that's ok" umbrella. Personally, I only use a handful of Reshade filters (no depth of field, no J.J. Abrams-style lens flare, etc.), but the difference in how the game looks in most zones is pretty incredible. I have to turn it off sometimes (like Cape Terrigan at high-noon, otherwise the sand makes you go blind), but when I turn it off in most places the stock graphics just look so... washed out. Mebbe I'll go grab some screenshots when I'm online later.
