I myself agree that this has been slowly becoming useless for the task it is supposed to perform. However if the solution to removing MogHouse is search comments, why are we removing MogHouse before those are actually implemented? Could we not just wait another update cycle so that the solution is in place already.

Would it be possible for the community to run a Discord? Would make looking for a group easier and its free. Essentially the same purpose MH had but out of game, and easily accessible rather than having people required to obtain a pearl.

There were some real good conversation going on about making Jeuno the hub once again like retail. That way people could communicate via /shout. Would make shouting for mission and etc much easier. If the server can handle 500 in a zone that is.

Really, I don't think search comments would help when you looking for CoP and ZM

You could easily communicate like this in the circuit. It's easily accessible, there's shops and stuff there, and transport between the cities.

Nothing stopping the playerbase from making its own MogHouse replacement. Nasomi may have broken MH but that doesn't mean players can't just make it anew. Fun fact, MogHouse wasn't even the server's original server-wide shell. That was another shell and Nasomi wasn't even the one who made it.

I think if we could figure out how to make Jeuno the main hangout it would actually be really good for the server. I think a few things need to happen for that to occur though.

1) Chocobo Circuit has to go. For one the circuit can't function as a hub to find parties because of the 500gil entry fee. You might say 500gil is really cheap but once you pay it you're stuck there. If you're shouting in Jeuno you can send a shout, wonder around, decide to do something else. Anytime you want to shout in the circuit it's another 500gil. It just doesn't work, the 500gil just makes it into an expensive, instant airship. It also provides an extremely easy way to move around combined with the Outpost Warps that makes it far more convenient than Jeuno, leading to the next point:

2) Jeuno needs an Outpost Warp NPC added to each of the embassies. Right now Outpost Warping is the primary methodology of moving around, but if we're putting a party together in Jeuno it is far, far more inconvenient to be there and get where you want to be than any of the 3 main cities. If we were to put together parties in lower Jeuno and walk up to the Gardens and port, it would be really really nice. This would leave only one thing left really, which is:

3) Airships fixed. Now, this doesn't have to be a priority and with the other two items done you could OP close to your home base and finish walking there. I also think they work most of the time as is, but this would simply provide a lazy way to get between the cities, and let's face it Airships are cool anyway. Having a reason to use them again but still be able to OP if you're in a rush would be pretty cool.

Anyway that's my outlook on this. If we want Jeuno to be the central hub we have to make it a convenient place to be. The reason it was such in retail was because all the main methodologies of travel led there. If 1 & 2 happen, Jeuno will naturally become the hub everyone hangs out in and we can have a lively Lower Jueno here in nasomi with bazaars and party finding. And heck useful shouting for teleports probably.

That said... I have no idea how difficult it is technically to add a totally new NPC. It might actually be impossible for all I know.
