Soooo I am currently thinking of making a comeback, it's been a long time. My PC's harddrive fried a bit ago, bought a laptop reinstalled it and I couldn't get the in game font big enough to my liking anyway, does anyone know how to fix this or nahhh????

You can alter the game resolution through the FFXI config tool under squareenix > playonline > FFXI > ToolsUS folder. You can also edit resolution by choosing your ashita profile and clicking the pencil (edit) icon.

Also, in the ashita launcher, be wary about changing your -menu- resolution to a non-standard resolution size, as this may cause your targeting cursor and menu to become invisible in game.

Yea I've done all of that with messing with the windows resolution and what not but the text stays like size 6-8 font lol

Open ashita, and edit your profile. CLick the window tab and look for menu resolution. If your background resolution is 1920x1080, set your menu resolution to 1600x900, this will make the menu's bigger, while retaining the crisp HQ quality background.
