Hi, I just made a new character yesterday. Anyways, I've noticed you might get some errors.. just keep trying and you'll eventually get in. The errors seem to stop after you successfully login to the game for the first time. After making character you'll get a black screen that says loading, it'll eventually time out... just log back in and try again. You might get that error 3313 a few more times but trust me it eventually logs in.

The UI will only display correctly if a recognized resolution is used for the Menu resolution setting. Make sure this resolution matches the window and background resolution settings, also.

The Menu Resolution is the exact same as my monitor and window.
It still hasn't worked fully with being offset

Edit: I've decided to forgo the keyboard and mouse layout, Its just been angering me, Im now using a duelshock 4 emulated as an 360 controller It works, thats what counts.

Heres another question however:
I've been looking at guides, videos and the sort
and I've noticed, no cutscenes play, my character was just dropped into the world with no reason.
I've never played XI originally so Im just rather confused on where to go, most guides just tell me how to build my character and not how to progress through the plot.

Im in Bastok, but yeahhhh this game is confusing as hell lol

The introductory cutscene doesn't work yet, and results in an initial crash for the client if I remember correctly. After it's "done" the client can reconnect and play.

Your screen problems I'm certain are/were related to resolution settings

but like I said its fine, I've given up on the mouse and using a PS4 controller.

Good job, mouse is the devil in this game. Controller is definitely the way to go.

I am abit bummed the story seems to be disabled.
I never played XI, and my friend who convinced me to grab it so we could play it and so I can experience it's story

But I digress.
