My view on the server changes from little over a year ago.

Sorry if english is bad.


Lvl sync was alot better free like it was a year ago last update made it little better but not like it was before .

AH is dead.

When the free Dyna was removed it started going down.

When change TH to something like it was in retail it never gonna work here.


Here its 150-350 people online retail had 1000-3000 gonna need 10 x droprate to get economy working.


LS moghouse was good for new player get party and find LS in please get it back.

or make a LS all get automatic when joining server.



No system is perfect but one idea to remove Gil from system could have been a fee when you make relics.

say 1 st relic cost 5 mill finnish then second one cost 10 mill 3rd 15 mill and so on for gilsink


The free Dynamis made economy rolling easy way for new player get gil.


Like it is now with 150-350 active daily online Free Dyna Dreamlands TH back atlest little better and NEW Moghouse LS

I think all this need get fixed to make the

Server great again

Thx for the new LVL sync system it was better then 20 cap but not like it was before.

AH is far from dead, every time I go into my dbox there's a truckload of gil. The trick is to make or farm things people want to buy.

Sync ranges make it a bit tougher to find a party, but it's still very possible. Before sync ranges you couldn't make anything to sell beyond level 30, there was zero market to sell anything because no one synced above 30.

Moghouse was removed because it was horrible. Nas has offered a bunch of ways to ease the burden of finding parties, the biggest being SEACOM. If you're not using it, you're not using the tools that nas has provided, so how can you complain?

I play on GMT +1 and party was 10 times easier find 1 year ago

Its easier for people with craft i think atlest if you got 2 craft close 100

All people not crafting with npc farm they could get 50k to do a dynamis run in 30-1 hour with TH like it is now it can take 5-6 hour to get 50k for Dynamis run.


New crafters will have to put in 10 x time to get to lvl 100 like it is now

When Dyna Dreamlands was free it was possible find random party for it on EU time it totally died out when 50k fee was added

If people are pushing for relic's and you're not, make them pay your entry fee. If you collect all the currency that drops, and sell it to the players who want relic's in the LS, then the LS should be more than able to fund everyone's runs. Why should people have to pay to farm other people's currency?

Once bcnms are 100% and dropping loot, that will help a lot especially for new players. I can only assume items like Ni and refresh will drop drasticly in price when more options to obtain are available, even then if Ni dropped to 400k, bcnms give people under 60 access to gil they never had access to before. I really think bcnms will spark a nice boost to Nasomis economy.

I will admit the 50k entrance fee to dynamis can really suck especially if you get hit with the auto hp bug.

Iam also working on relic and it was going faster when Dynamis Dreamlands was free.

I work from home and got the time farm for my fee but many people on server got jobs family.

When Free Dyna Farm and TH lost lost its been so much harder and time consuming.

My first job was pld to 75 i was farming Davoi 3-4 days maybe 8-10 hour to get 600k for sheild with th1.

Now maybe you get 60k on 8-10 hour its alot of time if you not got any craft live on and maybe 3-4 hour to play.

How many wanna farm 8-10 hour for 1 entrance fee Dynamis. If you got 2 runs week it will make 2 full time work days.

Retail had 1000-3000 people online here it is 150-350 atm economy is broken like it is.

Becouse when it was free random people joined on EU time some to farm currency for relics some to farm to sell for gil.

There was 3 way make gil Farm currency Dynamis Farm to NPC sell or Craft

Now its only easy make alot gil for crafters on high lvl 2 other good options are gone like half of the players who was online this time last year.

Now nobody ask to go Dyna in random groups like it was with Free Dreamlands

You do not make under 10k/h farming in Davoi post-TH changes. If you want to have a serious discussion about the changes that have been made to the server, do not misrepresent how significant those changes have been. Even without TH at all, you would make about half the gil you do with TH4. You are insisting that you make 10% of the gil that you used to. This is simply not true.

Relics are not supposed to be easy to get. Yes, it is unfair for newer players to have to work harder, but that will always be the case. Be glad you got any of it done before the changes.

I make most of my gil by farming with a friend in a secluded area no one goes to. We make about 1m gil for 10h of light (we are AFK half the time) farming. I use /THF for TH1. If we were to enter Dynamis every single day for farming, we'd only have to farm one day, for about 5 hours of actual combat, every 3 weeks.

Its the truth when i farmed Davoi one year ago i was do it on 75 pld/thf the 2 tower dropped the gun 20-40 % of the time gun was 10k to npc

Orcs dropped armor 10-30% of time with th1



Last round i did Davoi with Thf 75 with th4 3-4 days ago 70 x orcs dropped 1 armor piece 10 soiled letters and some fire crystals

I got 1 gun with TH4 from maybe 10-15 towers in total.


When you farm materials now most stacks is 1/2 to 1/10 value of what the price was 1 year ago if they sell at all.


I was doing NM also for spells 1 year ago with TH1 the BLM NM Quicksand caves dropped 1-2 Scroll Stone spell 90%

Now it dropped 2 times 1 spell off 10 kills with TH4


Look region map almost half of all areas is in beastman control now its becouse so few farm anymore or party anymore and that is the truth.

I do agree with the general sentiment that the last few updates have been a big bummer. The changes implemented really only serve to slow down progress or cause inconvenience. But I also agree with Nabutso that the numbers you are stating are quite exaggerated and don't help your point as a whole.

I used to hit Davoi quite a lot and with nin/thf just th1 was able to hit 80-100k an hour. That was on top of gold orcmasks which get thrown into the crafting mix and were my central purpose in being there but that in combination with the npcable gear drops made it a fun and lucrative spot. I haven't been there since the nerf so I did check it out after reading this post. I went for about 45 minutes and still made about 40k with only 3 orcmasks. Definitely a nerf without a doubt, drop rates on orcmasks from troopers were depressing 3/30~. 0/4 on Firebelchers. Gear drops about half the rate of before as well. If that's where he wants it to be, then that's what it is. I do agree that it will keep the economy slow and newer people under motivated in spending the extra gil to make our crafts worth doing. But let's keep our figures accurate here.

What Achisweden wants is gil inflation so that Dynamis can be entered with less effort. The same can be achieved by decreasing Dynamis entry fee.

As a new player, I can agree that economy is more dead than retail was (obviously). Supply/demand for very high percentage of items is zero. Among the few remaining items, you can figure out which ones you can farm/craft without saturating the supply. But it is usually hard-capped by limited demand, thus people going for npc-farming. A couple players playing 24/7 are farming/crafting all the time to meet needs of few consumers.

Consumption can be increased if people did more Dynamis, BCNM, HNM, partying and/or if we had more people playing. I say making those events more accessible is the key to success of this server.

For example, make Dynamis more accessible by making it free/cheap/???. To balance difficulty (?) of getting a relic, increase number of currencies needed.
Let people have something to do as soon as they login. From what I've observed, ~80% of online players are idling, waiting.
I would even consider making the ring/cap that allows you to TP to party leader work.

Nasomi keeps talking about, oh Vana'diel is hard if you don't like it, leave. For example, 15-20 mins walking to a PT camp isn't that hard, just time consuming. However difficulty due to time consumption doesn't scale well to a low population IMO.

Keep in mind that I've never done dynamis in my life and I'm a new player with limited knowledge.
Please don't make level-sync gap larger. I don't want to get stuck in Dunes forever.
