I'm trying to start the In a Pickle quest, but the start NPC, Chamama, won't start it. She only keeps saying "Welcome to the Rarab Tail Hostelry, dearie. The warmest warren for rest and relaxation..." lines. Also, I cannot start the A Pose by Any Other Name quest. Angelica just seems to be stuck saying "The old lady downstairs has been soooo kind to me..." along with a few other random lines of dialogue. Zoning and logging out are not helping.

I've also started the Say It with Flowers quest, so I know I do have Rep level 2 (and because the Rep NPC says so), but in the first step to talk to Ohbiru-Dohbiru, he doesn't progress the quest and just says "Thank you and ta-ta~ru!"

Current Quests I have active (in Windy) are:
Say It with Flowers
Making Headlines
Know One's Onions
Lure of the Wildcat

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

I went and picked up A Pose by Any Other Name just now:



I was able to pick up and progress the Say It with Flowers quest as well:

I finished the Know One's Onions and Lure of the Wildcat quests I had ongoing. These also gave me rank 3 reputation, so I can't say the exact cause, but I was able to start the In a Pickle and A Pose by Any Other Name quests after that. I still couldn't continue my quest with Ohbiru-Dohbiru though, so I decided to zone out and back in and then he gave me the right dialogue.

I'm gonna guess some sort of quest conflict rather than rep. But I'm glad you can progress now!

greetings . i was also having trouble getting angelica to actually let me start a pose by any other name. then finaly the next irl day she let me just fine. i had done nothing at all to get her to work. no in beetween quests or anything. now my wife cannot start a pose by any other name either. at all . rezining relogging doing other quests and coning back. nothing seems to work. i have asked in nas chatt a couple times but every time i speak in there i get actively ignored. any i am not just being a downer or but hurt. leteraly they wont anser any question that coums out of my charactures mouth....

anyway if anyone has any idea how we can get that quest to work for her that would be great. i have googled it for 3 days strait the only google info that even comes up for it is this post and the ffxi wiki for that quest. no one in game seems to be able to help either.
