Hello!

I've been having issues with my Corsair, as none of my roll effects actually do anything. Ninja Roll does not boost evasion, Chaos Roll does not boost attack, Hunter's Roll does not boost accuracy, and Corsair's Roll does not modify experience. The die icon shows up like a buff is active, but no numbers change, whether it be xp from mobs, /checkparam, or on the equipment screen. The only time I see an adjustment in numbers is when I bust. Other party member I have had confirm that no changes occur to any of their stats or xp as well, but they also get the die icon under effects.

I've tried changing jobs, zoning, dying, using COR as a sub, swapping gear, busting, and nothing seems to work. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue, and if so, how to fix it. Thanks! Please reply here or send a /tell to Lorik!

I actually have the same issue. My friend and I did some testing and it for sure isn't just an issue with the number not showing correctly in the equipment screen for Chaso roll the damage itself is not changing. I'll link my thread about it too.

Ah, so you haven't found a solution earlier. That's unfortunate. I hope I can figure out what to do to fix it soon.

None of my rolls work. Corsair's gives no exp; Chaos gives no attack boost in Equip menu (but other people report they can see the attack boost if rolled by another character); Evoker gives no refresh; etc.

Has anyone fixed this? I asked Nasomi and he said its user error

Another COR was on IRC with the same problem today, his char is named Jexarine. Again, not an isolated issue.

So I had suspicions of this a few times while lvling up corsair in the low levels but ended up dismissing it and not thinking about it much until reading this post. This is absolutely happening to my corsair. My rolls aren't effecting me or anyone else. This is not across the board all corsair's for sure as I play in endgame and corsair is a game changer typically. It seems to be some of us new corsairs. Mykuroichi is just a couple months old now. I do hope this will be addressed because I am loving the job but am sort of on hold wondering if it is going to be of any use to me.

Here is my /checkparam before and after hunter roll displaying the same accuracy. Accuracy then rises after eating akamochi +1 so /checkparam is infact working.

Then checked to see if my rolls are doing anything for party members. Accuracy has no change after roll.

So we still haven't identified a fix to this, huh? That's unfortunate. Has anyone else heard anything on this?

He did say in IRC he's looking into it. Haven't heard anything yet. I'm guessing its a complicated problem since its only happening to select corsairs. New information has come that it isn't strictly new corsairs either. There is someone who unlocked the job after me and their rolls are working correctly. I truly hope I can get back to the job. I played brd on retail so would really much rather have a new experience in support role.

Another layer to it:

Jexarine reported to me that his rolls do do something! Except they all do the same thing. All of his rolls, regardless of which it is, appears to give the Chaos Roll effect (atk+)
