I've tried searching for another post with this problem but can not find one, I've installed this on my laptop but my desktop keeps throwing error 87 at the very end of the install. I've tried to delete all the files, unzipped the download a 2nd time and even re-downloaded it as a torrent. Even uninstalled the retail game that was on the computer, and cleared out the left over files, trying to do everything I can, but still after about 6 tries has the same error. It is a retail version of windows 7. Thanks for any help with this, and hope everyone has a great day!

Error 87 can be safely ignored.

The error he had was that he wasn't launching with the right game resolution.
