I recieved a Dark Crystal for the bastok valentine's day quest.
Is this a bug - 200 gil and time/effort for a Dark Crystal?

Received similar results in Windy on 2 attempts. 2 different crystals.

Jeuno gives you a Chocobo Whistle. Tav gives you Red Eyes.

If it's anything like last year, it's random. You have to keep finding npc's to trade. There's like 50 npc's that will accept trades in windy.

Note that you can also get a Tidal Talisman from Brutus in Upper Jeuno.

I traded the chocolates to Brutus and received a chocobo whistle. Attempts to trade to anyone else results in a chocobo whistle that I cannot hold.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to still get a Tidal Talisman? Thank you for your help!

Receiving a Tidal Talisman from Brutus was unintentional. It's been removed from him for some time now.

You can receive a Tidal Talisman next year during the Christmas event.
