It truly wasn’t a rule at all, deadwing had a mule at every single HNM camp including Khim lol. Not to mention the multiple accounts he’s had. All of this is kinda new to us older players etc. I’m still missing my 3rd account, thanks Nasomi

There is a difference between "it's always been a rule and was never properly interpreted by the players nor was it enforced strictly by nas" and "it was once not against the rules". It doesn't surprise me how often you guys "forget" the clarifications nas has made to rules.

Hey guys.

First time checking back since Exe read my cry for help. . Thanks again man - really is incredible to come back to a private server after 4 years and still see a few familiar faces. I just wanted to dip in and say that this thread was never aimed to take a poke at the rules or step on anyone’s toes. Ffxi has been and always should be an escape from the drama. I don’t wish to be viewed as having contributed to it.

Nabutso, the comment came well before Nas appeared in chat and before I knew it I had already been removed. You are 100% correct in saying he probably had significantly more important things to take care of.

I was primarily looking to see if my brother and I would need to start over. Thankfully we didn’t and our accounts were left mostly as is. On the ww mule, I remembered the info on my own so you need not worry whether I am who I say I am. Exe knows the rest and I believe he recognizes my capacity to “share” and that I’m not here to take anything from anyone.

On the rules. As long as they exist, I plan to obide by them. I’m not here to challenge them or dispute them. I just enjoy the game and the people it draws - usually. My characters were made over 4 years ago when leveling meant a grueling page grind from 1-75 all by yourself. It’s fond memories of being one of the people that got to wear one of the first haubergons ever crafted on the server or Exe TH4ing my first pair of Leaping Boots that brings me back to the game.

The bottom line is... Nasomi means lots of different things to lots of different people. I may be going out on a limb here, but I’m going to say that above all else, making the FFXI experience as accessible and as enjoyable to as many people as possible is still the ultimate goal - or at least I would like to think.
