What was the issue with Redrumggz if you don't mind me asking? I ran into this guy recently and helped him out with a bunch of random stuff. He was nice, held interesting conversation, and was very thankful for the assistance I gave him. He seemed quite new and was not very versed in this game.


Here is a good example of what people have experienced (See Link). It just seemed like he was the typical "I'm playing a video game, but everyone else that plays the same video game is a loser and nerd" type of person.

Thanks Benzula, Yeah I did the same, as in offering him tips and advice which I don't mind doing, However.. do your due diligence and do your research and not expect everything to be spoonfed to you in tells or gil. If you can type in /tell and /shout you can do the same in google! I even warned him about the whole panhandling reputation, to which i was told "I don't give a F what anyone thinks.." that included me and since then i have withdrawn my interaction, to which his recourse is to follow me around town spamming emotes. /blist ignore and done.
In this instance... rinse & repeat.

Wow...Well he must have taken what was suggested to heart because I didn't experience any of what was said in that thread while I was helping him recently. Sure there was the bad spelling/grammar and what not, but I just chalked that up to him being a new player and possibly being EU. Never asked for gil, didn't talk about drama, just asked general questions about the game, lots of little things that I know I take for granted. I guess/hope he learned his lesson.

He finally got the memo. He's going to have one hell of a time with his attitude on a small private server. Ive had a couple run ins with him.

Well I believe in multiple chances. If he is doing/being better I'll give him another chance.
