Setting up a SEACOM (search comment) is easy and a great way to let the world know which jobs you'd like a party for, or maybe that you require a friend or box to join the party with you, which missions you are on or any other content you may be interested in.

Step 1: Open the in-game menu and go to Search, then Edit Comment. Here you can select what type of content you are looking for. Then select Seek Party.

Step 2: An empty box will appear. This is where you can write any message you want and it will be visible to others. The last SEACOM you set will remain until you change it again, so don't forget to keep your information up-to-date!

Step 3: Visit http://www.nasomi.com and hover your cursor over Quick Links. Then select Party Finder. You'll be able to see any person with their party flag on, as well as their SEACOM if they have one set. You can also select Quick Links and then SEACOM Browser - this list will show people who do not currently have their party flag on but still have a SEACOM set.

If you meet any new players, make sure they know about SEACOM on Nasomi and how to use it!

I'll admit.. I tried to use SEACOM, realized that you couldn't see it in game (that I could tell) like in era, and just assumed it was something that was broke.

I didn't realize we had a browser here.

I know people use to ignore it, doesn't make it out of era like outposts warps.

Outpost warps were added in 2004.

Nah I was saying they were in era like outpost warp. I must have misread that first post

Necroposting...but I updated my SEACOM in game and it isn't showing up in Party Finder that I can tell. Is there something different now?

I figured it out...apparently it doesn't like the auto-translator.
