Title pretty much says it all. FFXIPadConfig doesn't actually see any button presses when I test the controller. It works fine everywhere else. (I use this controller regularly to stream Final Fantasy XII.) Does Nasomi have a seperate Pad config that I should be looking for?

check your playonline ffxi folder etc where you see the gampad tools config.
Make sure its the US Tools folder that you are changing on your controller.

I found i was enabling the EU one at first which didnt work.
Run as Admin also etc

I use the F710 without too much issue. In fact, the only time I had an issue was when I let Microsoft update me from 7 to 10 and had to delete the drivers and let Win find and reinstall a new driver set.

What kind of problems were you having? I can open the Config but the problem I have is that when I try and test the buttons on the controller, the config doesn't actually see me pressing anything even though the Logitech profiler certainly does. Did you experience a similar problem with the drivers? I tried reinstalling them but I guess I could give it another shot.

Also are you using XInput? I haven't been, but if I recall the F710 has XInput support just like the 310.

I appreciate the help guys!

When originally tried, same thing. Wouldn't recognize. Nearly a year and a half ago? though so I honestly don't remember what it was. I think I found updated drivers from Logitech directly that got it working. I've also seen alot of people suggest installing the XInput drivers for XBox controllers straight from Microsoft for the game pads instead. These days sometimes the F710 driver gets wonky under 10 and I delete the driver, unplug the usb dongle, plug it back in and let 10 find and install the driver automatically and I'm good to go again. I think my CCleaner might be too good at cleaning the registry. That or Malwarebytes but I'm leaning towards the CCleaner.

And yeah, the F710 has a switch right on it to go between XInput(Xbox driver style-Wireless Gamepad F710) and DirectInput(DirectX support(from when FFXI was made)-Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2). I prefer the Dx input mode for FFXI as it offers two extra buttons(either the bumpers or the triggers) as analogue. FFXI won't recognize them as digital triggers. Lately I've been using it in XInput for Castle Crashers though. :p

So apparently FFXI didn't like that I had more than one controller driver installed. I also had vJoy because I use the WiiU to Gamecube controller adapter, but once I uninstalled that it worked without any issue.

Thanks for the help guys. :D

Have to remember vJoy. Think I've seen that as a problem before.
