I'm trying to trade 3 eggs to a Festive Moogle but nothing happens. I'm trading the first three letters of my character's name. Am I actually supposed to be trading in the first three letters of my account name? Is there something else I'm missing?

No. There was an announcement in game. It went on much longer than expected, anyway.

Is there some other use for these eggs or are they only used in the event which is already done?
