It's almost as if there should be multiple linkshells devoted to progression that are friendly to ambitious newcomers...

Sincerely doubt I'll randomly decide to help someone shouting in town for something that takes hours of time. Join one of the many social LS's, make friends, ask them for help.

You can shout if you need a specific job, or just need one or two more. Just shouting that you want someone to run you through a mission? It's not gonna work out for you.

I always answer shouts for AF/Limit breaks/missions/coffers. BCs I don't really do, but I always help out the newbies. It's hard getting started ^^

Despite all the dramas, MogHouse was the shit for new players, dunno if I'd have stay myself if I didnt get that constant help from there.
