I love how this is a thread about HP Buff to Mobs and Zone Lag yet we're talking about where is the best to camp 10-20.

Well Chase did mention zone lag specifically in the dunes and emptying the dunes somewhat by providing alternate options for people who may be unaware of them would help to alleviate that so...

Yes but there's literally another post on the front page here of these forums talking about viable exp camp spots. There's no need to clog the entire first page of this thread discussing what is a viable option besides the dunes.

I'd actually like this thread to stay on topic about the HP buff to HNMs and the zone lag that plagues HNM zones much more than Valkurm Dunes. I haven't seen you at camps lately but I'm sure many in your LS can confirm the fact that almost every day3+ in DA there is a 10s-3min input lag.

To answer this question, and then we can leave this thread be until someone wants to talk about zone lag or the HP Buff. The reason people don't EXP in the zones you listed in your post, although they're good, is that the Dunes is a central hub for almost every character 12-20. Sometimes even 12-25 for the ones too lazy to run to Qufim since they "don't have the OP". As a person who's done over 25 jobs through the dunes at this point, you'll come to realize that, unless you're building a friend/LS party, those other camps are realistically not very smart. Here's why:

1) People who seek 12-20 (majority) sit in the dunes or have dunes OP waiting for party
2) Waiting on the party to gather/find those zones for newer players is torture
3) Newer players don't give a 30 min+ window to find reps to run to these zones other newer players have ever heard of or been since retail, and just give you the "thanks for the party, gotta go"
4) Getting a rep after said member abruptly leaves if it's a newer server player would take over 30 mins (minimum) I'd bet

I can confirm HNMs definitely have more hp now. I don't know why TS people need to talk poorly of other linkshells and boast about how good they are all the time here though you just make your argument less attractive to others.

In case anyone is confused by this, Nas asked for everyone to come to Behemoth's Dominion at 7:30 PM EST tonight to test out some lag fixes - he'll be popping a King Behemoth. If what he did works, it should solve both the high-R problem as well as the lag issue introduced with the plist fixes.

I'm skeptical, but hopeful.

You are a bad source for this argument, since youre literally being made fun of in this thread for how arrogant you acted in a previous thread.



Anyways, hopefully the testing in Behemoth's Dominion tonight at 7:30pm est goes well. With so many new players, even if 5% of them make it to end game, things will become even more unplayable. Nasomi is addressing it very fast too which is awesome of him.
