greetings, returning player to ffxi here. played over 10 years ago. was on midgardsormr server.

i dont really know where to post this. so in the rules i saw something about one help per ip or household... does that mean my wife cant have an account and play with me? i would really like to hear from a gm or nasomi on this so i dont get banned simply for playing on your server with my family.

1 HELM per household means 1 character doing Harvesting, Excavation, Logging, Mining, or Fishing at a time. It's an economy thing.

You most certainly can play with your wife.

Nope. Only one of you can fish at a time from the same IP.

I wonder if Nas might consider ratifying this now that we have the account system in place, like only 1 HELMF per account. I can see how that might be a slippery slope though.

I certainly hope he does.

im not sure that would matter concidering that there are bugs any for being on the same ip. i login sometimes to be met with her avatar greeting me from the login screen. then i have to relog client till i have my avatar... whats worse is i type my credentials *********** **********.... and then how in the world does it log me into her account..lol.


anyway thanks for all the answers.

same, wife is going to play with me same time once I get another laptop. Hope this gets fixed by the time I get one. She plays on mine and she likes this game. ^_^
