For those just starting out, try this setup.

Bastok Mines: Catch Crayfish
Clothespole + little worm
Get to level around level 4 fishing skill with this setup, and then go to Windurst.

Windurst Woods: Catch Moat Carp
Clothespole + Insect ball

You should be able to get up to level 10 on Moat Carp which sells for decent profit, from this point on you should be able to figure it out.

Fishing is broken since the latest update from this morning. No one can catch anything.

I have just started trying to fish today. I find it very tedious lol. Though I did manage to catch 4 monsters in Knightswell. Fishing skill 0 :p

So perhaps I should just wait to fish?

, no fish yet or skills ups, but 6 monsters now from which I got 1 rock salt and 1 land crab meat. :p I'll be rolling in the dough :p

Well Guess I will hold off till it is fixed Funny part is I never use to fish in retail (well at release I did for a bit). Maybe it is a sign lol

lol naw its cool and a nice way to chill out so i would do fishing for sure when its fixed zeph =D

Hopefully it wont be too long :p though either way its all good , I certainly wont complain on a private server about such things lol

Why not its a part of the game and the experience , I kinda get tired of its a private server etc ,
You spend time playing on this and yea i am aware nasomi is busy etc and its awsome for him to do what he is doing but that should not take away from the fact we all play this game and spend our time doing it.
