Just asking because even crafts with no sub seem to be HQ'ing significantly less for me lately... Wouldn't be surprised if the skill-ups are also broken at the moment.

All I was saying was that if there is something wrong, which I have no definitive info about one way or the other, hopefully it would be fixed before that person resumes their Goldsmithing. Reading way too much into my post there guys.

I recommend buying any craftable items you want ASAP. Hq rates are completely broken and prices will be significantly higher soon because of it. Nasomi isn't going to fix what he believes he already just fixed. I'm fine with the subcrafts thing. It's unfortunate that it was broken for so long and even more unfortunate about scorpion harness monopolization due to insider trading with a player who hasn't even played this game in almost a year but only crafts now. He beat you to the punch on that one. Any new people wanting those will have to slave away a few days of farming for it now. It is puzzling why that bonecrafting mule even still exists as it would put him over his 3 character limit but hey, some people are special I guess.

That aside, even crafts without subcrafts, get your stuff now. Prices will be higher in a month. We are working with entirely different rates now.

Thank you for the info, and not to sound like a know-it-all but you basically outlined my intended route and my intended plan of leveling up my main to be able to farm the Gold Orcmasks in Davoi. I still have huge reservations about going down this road atm but the reality is that I have no choice but to take a break from crafting because I NEED to level up in order to continue and since I'm a very casual player it's going to be a fairly decent break from crafting while I focus on other pursuits in the game.

This is basically what I was trying to say, using the price of Hauby+1 as my example. The sad part for me, and I know it's nobody's fault but my own, is that I literally have to watch now as these items become unattainable because I don't have the resources to buy the items that I was hoping to. I thought I had more time to acquire them, I was wrong. I don't say this as a "woe is me" plea or anything. Just as a heartfelt response from a new player.

I know that I'll still try to acquire these items in the future and if/when I do the reward will be very sweet and hard earned. But it does sting a little when I think about it now and know that for the price of what a Hauby+1 will be when I can buy it I COULD have purchased probably 5-6 HQ items if I had that gil right now, or preferably last week.

C'est la vie. I'm ok with it. I'm not going to quit or anything. Just sharing my heartfelt thoughts on how I, and perhaps some other players, actually feel about the economic changes that are happening right now.

I still appreciate all of the hard work that's going into this game and I'm grateful to be able to play it again the way I remember (for the most part).
