Do people do Kuftal crabs on this server? I remember hitting up West Altepa near the mesa on beetles, then heading into Quicksand Caves from somewhere in south West Altep to around 52, then to crabs in Kuftal. I loved it as a NIN tank because those crabs didn't blitz through shadows too quick.

People rarely goto anything in that general region except for Cape Terrigan if they're hard up for a camp.

Did the beetles in Western Altepa at a 45/46 sync last night. XP was ok thanks for the rings being on but not great. Certainly was better than just sitting there LFG. Tons of beetles to chain, just low XP per mob.

Had a person straight up refuse to go there the other day when 2 parties in KRT already. "15k/hr or bust!" They then sat seeking for 4+ hours with 0 exp?

We were PLD, BRD, RDM, SAM, DRK, and BLU and made short work of them all without trouble at 46. I'd guess a 43 party could handle it but not sure how fun it'd be if they're anything like trying to do beetles in GC basement at 48 which is where we moved to.

some people are just dumb, man. Terrigan is obviously not going to compete with KRT, but it's absolutely a viable camp. It's relatively low risk if your puller doesn't suck.

Don't get me wrong I only get like 1 day a week to actually exp so I too love as much exp as I can get but even the 40k tnl stuff can be chipped away just fine. 8k/hr sure may be lower than KRT and feel bad but its also only 5 and change hours for 74-75...that seems fine by me. The only thing I can think of is new people on server magically want Maat caps asap? Gotta rush the 50-75 gap where you actually have fun gear and abilities so you can make it back to the 80 person dunes!

This needs a bump I don't like having to go to page 2 for it, not super clear on the level ranges though.

Carpenter's Landing (south via Jugner Forest) (J-10) 23-26 : Start with beetles, then move to flytraps, the pug and finish with tigers.

Set the mages up behind the logs and melee fight em on the corner/infront of the log pile. Flytraps AoE sleep (15') and can paralyze (think it's a cone in front of em), tigers paralyze AoE. Shouldn't be a big deal though but you definitely want mages to stay on their toes to wake people up and paralyna when possible.
