It involved running a separate server through a Virtual Machine somehow. I have no idea how to do that and I highly doubt my computer could handle it. Good luck if you want to try, but I can't promise anything will work out for you. It's like running on PS2, no plugins or anything, just whatever the game client provides.

For some reason in Regedit I dont have driect 3d or Nasomi under software how do i fix this game will launch but crashes after okay pre title screen than black screen an crash , anyone think they can help me ?

I can't send PM's on here either for some reason which kinda sucks , but i also don't have a wine32 folder under lib either for some reason I'm using ubuntu 18 though so maybe ill go back to like 16 or something see if that does the trick because I don't understand why it's not really installing correctly other than wine isn't working right with ubuntu 18 due to repos an stuff like that i imagine idk though....

run this command instead blissj

sudo cp ~/Downloads/imm32.dll.so /usr/lib/wine/

arch uses a different folder because is a different setup

hi, followed your tutorial i get as far as connecting but whenever the game tries to start up it doesn't load the boot loader says the connection is successful but ffxi doesnt ever load up though I am using wine-staging
