He's saying that people dying in the region flipped it to beastman controlled. Either you, if you were there maybe, or someone else, died.

Keep in mind there is rebalancing as of like a year ago for conquest.

This means that when conquest is tallied, it will take the total number of all players by nation in the past week, and balance their conquest points for each region.

Example:
Windy: 100 players, 1000 conquest points
Bastok: 120 players, 1100 conquest points
Sandy: 140 players, 1200 conquest points

Lets use sandy as the baseline. It will set up a proportion:
140/100*1000 for windy = 1400 effective conquest points
140/120*1100 for bastok = 1283 effective conquest points
140/140*1200 for sandy = 1200 effective conquest points

So while sandy may have the most, based on population, windy worked hardest and would be in 1st for that region, bastok would be second, and sandy would be last. However, this doesn't happen until the actual conquest tally occurs, so the charts you see leading up to the tally may be inaccurate based on how many players each nation has.
