It says 30 resist but only gives 20. it's a great shield and it would be nice to get use of it's full potential. Also, the price is not worth it at all if it's only 20 resist.

Not sure where the +30 pics and info came from, but it's prob supposed to be +20.

The reason you keep seeing 30 in all the images on the wiki, even looking at older versions of the page, is that the pic they reference in the older pages is the same filename as the modern image.

The resist was always 30, the display was bugged and showed 20 for years. It was fixed in 2013ish. That's where the confusion on the wiki comes from.

But all the history pages for the item show it as +7 fire, +7 ice, -7 water before 2010. Is +20 even in era?

I'd enjoy a source too.

The item didn't even exist until 2010, the +7 fire was just datamined from game files before it was added to the game. When it was added, the datamined graphic changed to +20. It looks like it was changed to +30 in 2017. We're lucky to have the shield at all.

I'd be surprised if it took 3 years for that to be noticed and reported, are we sure it didn't change between 2010 when it was added and 2013 when the graphic was adjusted?
