Hello!

All my addons do not work, when i try to load them in game it says failed to load and looks like its trying to load from a random desktop location. How do I tell the game where the proper location of the files are?

The only authorized addons are already loaded in the ashita client included from the torrent. Any others are strictly prohibited and are grounds for GM intervention. Cheating, exploiting, 3rd party programs, addons, and apps are against the rules.

The addons that you say are already loaded are the addons im talking about.. I have no addons that work. Linkshell suggested to try /addon load recast but it says failed to load.. and shows it pulling from a random file on my desktop not associated with FFxi.

Try redownloading a fresh ashita from the downloads section. Recast has been broken on and off for over a year due to SE's updates.
