I use this AH a TON and I can tell you with 100% certainty it is prioritizing the most recent items listed if they are listed at the same price.

This is how I know it doesn't always follow that order:

I was listing these as I crafted them, all at the same price, on the same day. Why are some selling out of order?

This happens whenever items are listed for the exact same price, no matter who is selling.
