I've recently made a second character in order to alleviate some of the clutter in my moghouse inventory, but cant seem to get duallogging to work so that i can transfer items. Login works on both chars as individuals, but once i try to dual log, the second characters' password gets accepted and login succeeds but then a msg saying "Failed to connect to listening socket" pops up and the boot.exe closes. Any idea what i'm doing wrong? Opening both cmd windows in windowed mode, fully logging into main before attempting to log the Alt. I've done a search of the forum and manually flipped through about 30 pages, only to find very little.

That error is entirely harmless by itself. It just means you already have a client open, which is fine.

I've tried restarting pc and modem, still get the error. I forgot to mention i use the Hairpin fix, if that may have something to do with it

I had the same problem, and fixed it by changing the user account control (its at the top when you open nabutso’s link.)
