i'm told it was broken, then fixed, well i just tried to get it myself, and didn't get the CS after checking the slab of stone. ;.=.;

Have you tried again after the hotfix 30 min ago? Re-talk to the NPCs and head back out to the monument to trade your parchment. Let me know the results.

I tried just going to the runes and clicking, nothing.
I tried trading the parchment to the runes, nothing.
I tried going back and talking to Mertaire, no dialog presented.

Also to complete your instructions after doing the 3 above listed things, I've also tried to go back to the runes again, and again no CS at the runes and trade parchment doesn't work.

just got out of a party, tried it again and still nothing.

anyone know if its been fixed yet?

Nas still claims he fixed it.

I'm currently at the runes on Melodies alongside Naoru and we are unable to get the CS at the runes. I sat here last night and 4-5 others came by and said they too could not get CS.

Just tried to unlock brd and getting the same problem. Unable to get the cs from Song Runes in Buburimu Peninsula.

I told him if anyone else has trouble I'd yell at him, so, I'll go do that.
