From a practical perspective as population continues to grow I do not know how the low level XP areas are going to survive. Dunes is already a shitshow during primetime, and Qufim is also crowded. Some of this could be alleviated by people XPing in places like Burimbu, but there are fewer viable camps there than there are in the Dunes, and Qufim alternatives like Carpenter's can't support many parties either. If population keeps growing at the rate it has, even in the handful of months I've been here, this is going to be really rough half a year from now.

We did just fine in the cop era with 3k+ people on during prime. People will just have to rediscover all the old exp areas and mobs that used to be popular during that time.

The issue is some things don't work they way they did back then, example, gobbie bombs.

TBH with barfire up the gob bombs seem to be pretty close to retail. I killed a few last night in CT and the dropped bombs didn't really effect us to much. The only thing that is still off is the cast time for bomb toss, it seems to be a instant cast almost impossible to stun.

You could fit a lot more people in each XP zone in CoP era on retail because people sucked at the game and killed stuff at a quarter of the speed.
