He should do it like 4 times a year while mixing up the items, only doing the kraken club on the anniversary.

It's a great way to destroy gil nasomi, which we all know how much you love.

I think there's better ways to destroy gil than clog people's inventories constantly. Also, it only destroyed about 30m gil, which isn't really a huge chunk of the total gil in circulation (.7%?)

Anyone know who won what yet?

I understand we want to publicize the winners' names because it proves that "players next door" can win such contests, but I don't want to be in their shoes when they'll get tells for "MONIEZ PLS" and endless trade offers.

I suggest the winners take a vacation to a sunny tranquil place in Tavnazia on /anon with only a Fishing Rod and no Linkpearl until the buzz calms down a bit. xD
