Old forum accounts, yes, but our game characters are still intact. You just need to click where it says "Account", log in with your forum info and put in your game login under Main where it says Legacy, to bind it to your forum login. All game accounts must now be tied to a forum account

Only -very old- forum accounts were deleted, but yes Raem is right that characters/game accounts never are. Your issue is that your game account isn't bound to your forum account. See here for more details: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5997
